Air Korea was a virtual non-commercial airline in Second Life®. Korea served the Second Life® Grid with commuter travel and charter flights in the Blake Sea continent.
Background[]
Air Korea was founded on the 6th of July, 2015 by Taeyeon Kim, a pilot at the time for Nihon Air. Her idea was to bring a Korean airline into Second Life®, something that did not exist at the time. It took only a few hours before everything was ready for the airline to start making flights. On the 27th of July, Air Korea joined Blue Sky Alliance which partners with Nihon Air and International Airlines.
