History
In 2013 the Company was founded to offer tourists the opportunity to enhance their vacations with Air Tours around the local Islands of the Blake Sea's.
The company was privately owned by Khan Penucca who employed 2 other pilots to ferry passengers on site seeing tours. In 2015 the company was involved in a large scandal of smuggling contraband rum and all assets were immediately seized by the authorities and trading was stopped until the trial. Bahamas Air Tours managed to avoid prosecution as evidence collected previously had somehow vanished and the case was dropped.
In 2016 the airline was sold to Sweecah's gridnet™ Consortium and keeps its name Bahamas Air Tours flying under the Gridnet airways banner.
