AYA-USA Airport (ICAO: SL--) was the oldest continuously operating airport on the continent of Gaeta V. A large public airport with access to protected ocean routes leading to the Blake Sea and Satori, the airport was located in the 'Comfrey' region of south-eastern Gaeta V.

Landing Advisories

  • Elevation advisory: Secondary Runway is free-floating sky port platform at approx 500m elevation. Recommended minimum safe approach 510m.
  • Slow rez advisory: Due to the large number of vendors and facilities on location, this airport may take longer to load than many. Pre-landing flyover to cache objects is recommended.

Background

The longest surviving airport on the Gaeta continent and only Executive Airport constructed there, AYA-USA was a popular place for pilots who wished the challenge of the long distance flight this region required. Public rez was permitted on both the airport's primary and secondary runways. At surface level there were many vendors and flight services within and surrounding the multi-levelled control tower structure. A secondary runway was located on a long, wide, free-floating airport platform at 500m above sea-level.

At its height, there were no scheduled services operating to or from AYA-USA Airport, however charter flights may have been available on request.
