The Beechcraft King Air C90GTX (ICAO: BE9L / WAKE: LIGHT) is a twin-turboprop aircraft. Created in Second Life by DSA Aeronautics, the aircraft was based on the real-life Beechcraft King Air, built in the United States of America by Beech Aircraft Corporation (now Beechcraft).

Background

The real-life Beechcraft King Air was the first aircraft in its class and has been in continuous production since 1964. It has outsold all of its turboprop competitors combined. The C90GTX is a 2010 production version with Winglets added as factory-standard, and a maximum take-off weight of 10 485 lb (4756 kg) which was increased for better full-fuel payload flexibility.

Available only in-world, DSA Aeronautics' recreation of the King Air C90GTX features a fully-featured pilot/co-pilot's heads-up display (HUD), working doors, landing gear, flaps, reverse thrust, autopilot, ground proximity warning system (GPWS), and realistic lighting (landing light, navigation lights, strobes, and beacon).
