Beethoven Airfield (German: Beethoven Flugfeld) (ICAO: SLBT) is a single-runway public airport in the 'Beethoven' region of the Meisterbastler-Kreis Estate - a privately-operated group of English and German-speaking sims separate from the Second Life mainland.

Background

One of two airports in the Meisterbastler-Kreis (MBK) chain of German-speaking sims, Beethoven Airfield is equipped with one short runway (with a military-grade aircraft catapult system). Beethoven Airfield is designed primarily for jet fighters, light aircraft and helicopters. At the end of the landing surface are DSA refuelling facilities, a small selection of demo aircraft, and access to MBK's road network. The airfield is located and has easy access to some of the most picturesque locations in Second Life.
