Caledon Middlesea Airfield (ICAO: SLCM) is a single-runway public airfield in the 'Caledon Middlesea' region in the Independent State of Caledon - an independently operated group of regions separate from the Second Life mainland.
Landing Advisories
- Pilots can only fly to other locations in the Independent State of Caledon landmass from this location.
- Designed exclusively for steampunk/dieselpunk themed aircraft, modern/futuristic vehicles prohibited.
- Runway unmarked, only for small planes.
- Recommended approach to 60m.
Background
Caledon Middlesea Airfield is located on a small island, and it is part of the airbase Iron Cloud, which is 400 meters high; it really is more a service station for rest and regroup when military aircraft combat alert; below the airfield there is an area with piers for boats and next there is also a docking area for Hot air balloon, helicopter or similar aircraft.
