The Cessna Citation Excel 560XL (ICAO: C56X / WAKE: MEDIUM) is a turbofan-powered, medium-sized business jet. Created in Second Life by DSA Aeronautics, the aircraft was based on the real-life Cessna Citation Excel, built in the United States of America by Cessna.

Background

The real-life Cessna Citation Excel is one of the best-selling business jets ever built. It has the ability to operate out of smaller airports while still offering the comfort and amenities of a midsize jet. Over 18 feet in length, the cabin provides ample room for up to seven passengers. The XLS/Excel also features a full refreshment center and the largest baggage compartment in its class.

Available only in-world, DSA Aeronautics' recreation of the 560XL features a fully-featured pilot/co-pilot's heads-up display (HUD), working doors, landing gear, flaps, reverse thrust, autopilot, ground proximity warning system (GPWS), and realistic lighting (landing light, navigation lights, strobes, and beacon). The 560XL is a sculpted model with the DSA 03 Series Scripting, and all of the main features are controllable from the included HUD or by chat commands.
