Desert Combat Airfield (WW2A) was a small, single-runway public military airfield built in the 'Bay Area' region in the WWII Roleplay Estate - an independently operated group of combat regions separate from the Second Life mainland.

Background
Constructed circa --, the Desert Combat Airfield was a simple military airfield servicing the WWII Roleplay Estate combat area. It was equipped with a single sandy runway (unmarked and unlit), flanked by hangars and barrage balloons. The airfield was replaced by an ocean harbour containing an aircraft carrier in early October 2015.
