Acknefar Monitoring Station is a public coast guard station (SAREMS UK or Search And Rescue Emergency Medical Services United Kingdom) and heliport in the 'Acknefar' region of eastern Nautilus. The region is also home to Acknefar Airport.
While not accessible to most conventional aircraft, the station is equipped with a public helipad (two other pads are available, but reserved for SAR aircraft) and docks for mooring seaplanes.

Background
Originally home to Acknefar Public Airport, the 'Acknefar' region was abandoned for several years before being bought and re-purposed by Search and Rescue UK (S.A.R E.M.S. U.K.) as a monitoring station for SAR operations in early 2014. By May 2014, the facility was equipped with two raised helipads, a public helipad, jetty, radio building, and ATC tower. During the summer of 2014 the facility was expanded northwards to incorporate a new medical unit and hyperbaric chamber, and numerous bots were added for role-play. The station is accessible by helicopter, boat or seaplane.
