Subak Airstrip (ICAO: SLSK) is a small public airfield occupying the 'Subak' region of north-western Jeogeot. The airfield is owned by Linden Lab and is part of the Jeogeot Gulf combat zone.

Landing Advisories

  • Short runway advisory.
  • No runway lights or markings.

Background

A small public airfield created by the Linden Department of Public Works (LDPW), Subak consists of a single 87m x 15m sandy runway, some nearby huts built onto docks and a lighthouse near the south-west end of the runway (which serves as a reliable landmark for finding the facility). Although it has remained largely unchanged over the years, Subak was slightly altered in late 2014 following the establishment of the adjacent Wright Brothers Regional Airfield and the Jeogeot Gulf combat zone (of which it is a part). For a more combat-orientated theme, the airfield was equipped with a single (non-functional) anti-aircraft gun and a long wooden dock on its north-west edge.
