Wild Blue Yonder

Wild Blue Yonder (ICAO: SLWI) is a public airport situated in the 'Faracity' region of north-eastern Nautilus. The airport is home to Wild Blue Yonder, an invitation-only members group, dedicated to ongoing exploration and adventure in Second Life by Air, Land, and Sea.

Background

Wild Blue Yonder airport is a quaint single runway facility set along a beachfront. Adjacent to the runway is a large control building for the airport that also serves as a club-house for the Wild Blue Yonder group. A marked Public rez zone for land/air vehicles is available at the center of the complex along with a fuel station.

The site does not host aircraft alone; at the foot of the club-house is a dock where ships can be rezzed. To take full advantage of this airport's features you should consider applying to join the group. Information for applying to the group can be found in the first floor of the control building. Several hangers are available to rent however they are limited to group members.

The facility ceased operating in mid-August 2015.
