Mouse-look PA-18 cockpit (07-14)

First-person perspective of a Super Cub cockpit whilst in mouse-look mode.

Mouse-look is the first-person camera view in SL as seen from the eyes of the avatar. When in this mode the mouse is used to move the camera around, hence the name. Mouse-look is often used for weapons, vehicles, and grabbing objects. A number of aircraft (such as helicopters) use “mouse-look steering”, which means that the pilot switches to the first person view and the helicopter points in the direction of the mouse cursor.
