Opened in june 2013, SLXZ Heliport was a small heliport servicing the nearby Victorio and PXDTOXIC clothing stores and southern Corsica more generally. The facility was composed of two helipads elevated off the ground on top of the maintenance buildings.
At the west end of the heliport was a terminal and ATC tower, with a flight of steps leading down to a fuel station and maintenance bay below. While not accessible to most conventional aircraft, the heliport was equipped with two public helipads.
Area attracts trips to the mountains, public road trips (Circuit La Corse) and off-road fields (abandoned land) Right at the airport terminal was a mountain bike rental and taxi / car rental(free).
The heliport was this facilities: Airport beacons, Terminal, Check-in, Gate, Lounge, Mountain bike hire for trips (free), Taxi / Rental Cars (free),Lounge bar in terminal, Corsica County Sheriff Dept.
In late December 2015, after the owner established the station Virtual Coast Guard (VCG CORSICA AIR STATION) on the place, his owner decided also to put an airport; Ananda Ghost has made a safe route that can be seen in the map below, but due to the high amount of lag and ban lines in the area, is a great challenge to all the pilots to get here.
